Etruria Beat announces his nineth release signed by a new italian talent Yaya. He has already released on labels like Desolat and Cadenza, Yaya is definitely growing a lot in the underground music scene with many projects played and supported by the best dj’s and producers from the world, like his friend Loco Dice, who welcomed him few years ago in his big family ArtistAlife and Desolat recordings. Yaya’s geography unravels on three essential cardinal points: Benin, where the roots of his African blood come from, Torino and Ibiza, places of training and achievements. Within Yaya’s electronic work, the echoes of his aphrodisiac background, of a clearly tribal African nature, mix with the sunny Balearic rhythms of new house, deepened through several summers in Ibiza. The Ep opens with “Never Alone”, original mix influenced by House and Nu-Disco Sounds, particular groove framed by rolling toms and bassline. Sexy Vocal riffs and soft pads makes the ambience of this track totally particular and personal! After that, it’s the time for tINI’s remix, first lady from Desolat! Completely different groove than the original one and with different impact. Exactly reflecting her style during a dj set, Deep but at the same time powerfull, sound charactrized by a deep and hot passion… That’s what Tini says with her music. On the other side you will find Gel Abril remix, very known producer, the groove master from Be As One riding on heels on his latest production scene with Andrea Oliva which reached nr 3 at the beatport tech house chart as well as nr 3 at resident advisor top 50 most charted track on february and march issues. Like always he did a really strong track, totally powerful for those who love dancefloor music with pumping grooves. The last track of the ep is “Strange Metting”, pure tech-house music with speaker vocals. Perfect for each type of dancefloors and situations. A track playable in all your dj sets!

It is a huge pleasure for Etruria Beat to welcome to the family, for the first time on an Italian label, Martin Swanstein, better known as Martinez. The Swedish/Danish is best known for his release on labels such as Moon Harbour, Cadenza, Lomidhigh, Love Letters from Oslo and La Pena. Martinezs first release, that kick started his carrier in 2000, was his “Laidback Grooves EP” on the notorious Chicago based Deep-House label Guidance Recordings. Since that time hes been a regular on the worldwide Deep/Tech-House scene. On the A-side we start out with the title track “Lonely Crowd”. This track has the signature Martinez, bass driven, hypnotic and percussive house sound, opening with tight percussion over a distinct rolling beat that is soon joined by a heavy 808 kick drum. The groove filters into a more open house beat before a heavy bassline drops in. While the track keeps groovin horns and metallic crowd noise rise before the groove crashes back in. “Venomous Advantage” is a more stripped down house affair with a strong connection to the old Chicago tracks of Gemini and Green Velvet. A deep round kick drum and metallic drums and hi-hats kick things off. Some chopped up voices drop throughout the track and slowly, but steady, deep chords filter into the groove. After the main break a acidic second bassline is introduced. An excellent hypnotic floor builder with lots of hidden treats. On the flip we have “Tenganan”. Named after a spiritual city in Bali, Indonesia, where the Aga people lived in their own society for many years, completely cut off from the rest of the world. Martinez was lucky enough to visit the city on one of his recent Asian trips and was able to record the atmospheric sounds of this magical place. These samples lay the back ground to the entire track and are built over slamming percussive drums, underpinned by a driving bassline. The track leads into a peak time break and introduces another layer of voices and sounds, while some well placed snare drums lead it to mayhem. “Prism”, is a deep dubby Techno track. Bass headlines the track, blended with deep and groovy percussion. A bubbly trippy sound filters thru the drums taking the lead and becoming the hook line. A perfect track for the after hour session! A digital bonus track, “Ostinato”, which is the classical music term for a repeated phrase is, as the name suggests, a very hypnotic soundtrack! Firm and swinging house beats, a hypnotic chord and filters create a track that changes with each new 16 bars. Perfect for warm up, peak time or after hour, its your choice!
