D.Diggler is known for his his continuous development of sound quality. With a larger variety in style he is able to even precise his tracks and their sound. On his second album for Resopal – WORKS – D.Diggler is redefining the rather too often heard term ‘minimal dub techhouse’ and gives it a new meaning. Compared to EMPULSE, where most of the tracks were more tool based WORKS has a lot more tunes with an arrangement structure. The songs have a lot more variety, but without never loosing the club aspect. D.Digglerhas used his experiences as a DJ, worldwide and produced an album again where he blends several influences and gives them, his own very special brand. WORKS is a well developed album on RESOPAL probably his best so far.

Amor Fati is a latin phrase loosely translating to “love of fate” or “love of one’s fate”. It is used to describe an attitude in which one sees everything that happens in one’s life, including suffering and loss, as good. Moreover, it is characterized by an acceptance of the events or situations that occur in one’s life. The phrase has been linked to the writings of Marcus Aurelius who did not himself use the words. Amor Fati as well is an emerging producer from hamburg who is linked to the club life since the beginning of the 90s. No matter if it’s in the Tresor, the E-Werk or the Omen, Detroit, Techno Chicago House and the Frankfurt Sound inspired him as well as the freedom linked with it.
